Feng Shui master Marites Allen says better things to come in 2015

Nagbigay na ng paunang sulyap ang Pinay at international Feng Shui master na si Marites Allen kamakailan hinggil sa mga dapat abangan sa susunod na taon, partikular na sa pagsapit ng Chinese New Year na papatak sa February 19, 2015.

Bida ni Allen, na nagdiriwang ng kanyang ika-10 taong anibersaryo simula ng ilunsad niya ang World of Feng Shui sa Malaysia, magiging mas maganda ang 2015 o “Year of the Wood Sheep” kumpara sa 2014 dahil kumpleto sa taong ito ang limang elemento.

Ang limang elemento na tinutukoy ni Allen, na siyang paboritong Feng Shui master nina Kris Aquino, Boy Abunda, Ruffa Gutierrez at Luis Manzano, ay ang Wood, Earth, Water, Fire at Metal.

“The Sheep is one of the better signs of the Chinese zodiac. It is known for its mild and peaceful ways. The destiny chart for 2015 has indications of all the five elements, and all the four pillars of the charts, so generally it is a better chart than 2014, which as too much Fire and missing Earth and Water” elements,” ani Allen.

Bukod dito, kabilang sa 2015 chart ang dalawang sets ng astrological “secret friends” na Tiger at Boar, at Horse at Sheep na makakadagdag sa swerte at ganda ng papasok na taon.

“Astrological ‘secret friends’ of Tiger and Boar, Horse and Sheep are all present in the four pillars of the chart, which means a very rare opportunity and could very well indicate great luck, auspicious energies for the year and a peaceful resolution of any issues at hand.”

Payo ni Allen sa bawat isa na dapat ay maging maalam sa mga swerteng hatid ng darating na taon at ugaliing palibutan ang sarili ng positibong enerhiya.

“What matters is that people should be well-informed, be ready to make full use of the positive energies, and stay protected from the negative ones that will emerge next year,” dagdag pa ni Allen.

Ibinunyag din ni Allen ang mga masuswerteng kulay para sa susunod na taon: berde (Wood element), pula (Fire element), at asul (Water element). Suswertehin din umano ang mga ipinanganak sa Year of the Ox at Year of the Rat habang hindi magiging masyadong maganda ang taon sa mga ipinanganak sa Year of the Rooster at Year of the Dragon.

Nakatakda rin ilabas ni Allen ang kanyang Frigga Charmed Life fashion line para sa 2015 sa darating na Nobyembre at idaraos din nito ang Annual Feng Shui Convention sa Disyembre 27, 2014 sa Luxent Hotel, Quezon City.

Natatangi ang bagong international fashion line na binuo ng pamosong Pinay Feng Shui expert na si Marites Allen sa tulong ng kanyang London team of international fashion designers --  Frigga Charmed Life.

Ang Frigga ay ang produkto ng kakaibang ideya ni Allen na pagsamahin ang Feng Shui at fashion sa pamamagitan ng pagdidisenyo ng mga damit at accessories na nakabatay sa mga prinsipyo ng Feng Shui upang makaakit ng swerte at tagumpay sa iba’t ibang aspeto ng buhay.

“The basic principle of Feng Shui is that you attract prosperity and auspiciousness in your life and work environments are balanced and harmonious,” paliwanag ni Allen.

 “Feng Shui uses shapes, colors, symbols, and elements in seeking that balance, so it lends itself naturally to fashion. You apply the same principles on clothing, which is the most intimate environment there is, close to our bodies, and essentially that is wearing and projecting our aspirations to acquire harmony in our lives,” dagdag pa ng kilalang Feng Shui expert.

Developing the fashion line

Naisip ni Allen na marami, partikular na ang mga kababaihan, ay mahilig sa pagsusuot ng mga magagandang damit ngunit kadalasan naman ay wala itong kahulugan. Ito ang nag-udyok kay Allen para pag-aralan ang fashion sa pamamagitan ng pag-e-enrol mga kursong Your Future in Fashion at Luxury Brand Management sa University of the Arts sa London.

“We keep on wearing clothes but it doesn’t have any meaning so I’ve decided to really study what is the thing behind fashion, how do you make it, what are the trends, everything,” ani Allen sa Frigga event na ginanap kamakailan sa Luxent Hotel sa Quezon City.

Sa pag-aaral ni Allen naging inspirasyon ang kanyang natutuhan tungkol sa mga kilalang fashion brands tulad ng Louis Vuitton, Hermes, at Chanel gaya ng kuwento tungkol sa lilies ng Louis Vuitton at kung bakit ito tinawag na Chanel No. 5.

“With those inspirations around, I was thinking that if we keep buying these clothes, all these branded, products, and we’re loyal to it, maybe then we can introduce something to the public which is wearable, fashionable, comfortable and at the same time it brings luck.”

Tamang-tama na sa isang fashion lecture na kanyang dinaluhan ay nakilala niya si Toby Meadows, isang kilalang fashion consultant, sa Europe na ngayon ay tumatayong London director ng Frigga.

Ipinirisinta ni Allen ang kanyang ideya kay Meadows na nagustuhan naman ng huli dahil sa kakaibang konsepto.

“When I presented the idea to him, he said it is something different and unusual. He said that if Donna Karan is changing the fashion cycle from two seasons to four seasons, on my part I’m changing the fashion cycle every month because one’s luck changes every month.”

Ang mga disensyo sa mga damit at accessories ng Frigga ay ginawa ng mga fashion designers batay sa mga predictions ni Allen sa bawat animal sign.

“What I did is I plot the lucky elements for a particular animal sign per month. Imagine there are 12 months and 12 animal signs. It’s a very long chart. And then I told my partners that I want my lucky element and lucky symbols to be placed in this direction, this color, this print that would fit in the design,” paliwanag ni Allen sa proseso ng paglikha ng Frigga style.

“It’s really something new, something that’s never been done before and I want to bring it to the public.”
