Napili ang mga batang opisyal mula sa Departments of Interior and Local Government (DILG), Public Works and Highways (DPWH), Education (DepEd), National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Office of Civil Defense (OCD), Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS), at lokal na pamahalaan ng Antique, Benguet, Bohol, Iriga City, Malabon City, Eastern and Northern Samar, pati na rin ang non-profit group Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation bilang kinatawan ng Pilipinas ngayong taon.

“Japan took years to develop its disaster management system and we continue to learn from our experiences and share it with partner countries like the Philippines,” ani JICA Chief Representative Susumu Ito.

“We are confident that the chosen delegates possess the energy and enthusiasm to contribute to the Philippines’ disaster resiliency efforts,” dagdag pa niya.
