Kinoronahan na ang pinakabagong Miss Philippines-Japan 2013 na si Mayu Eustaquio Murakami. Tinalo ni Murakami ang 13 kandidata sa grand coronation night na ginanap sa Tsuzuki Hall, Yokohama kamakailan.
Isinilang sa Tokyo at 3rd year International Cultural Exchange student Majoring in Mass Communication ang nanalong 20-anyos na beauty queen.
Sa question & answer portion, sinagot ni Murakami ang tanong na “What Filipino values has your mother taught you that you can share to everybody in Japan?”
“My mother has taught me well and she gave me unconditional love,” ang madamdaming sagot ni Murakami.
Si Seira Castro Suzuki naman ang hinirang bilang Miss Luzon 2013 habang Miss Visayas 2013 si Youki Ponteras Akimoto at Miss Mindanao 2013 naman si Yuki Do Sonoda.
Panalo naman ng special awards ang mga kandidatang sina Marina Molina Asano na nakasungkit ng Best in Talent at People’s Choice Award; Youki Ponteras Akimoto na itinanghal na Miss Glowing Skin, Miss Congeniality at Miss Byuting Pinay; Siera Castro Suzuki na Miss Kissable Lips, Miss Tokyo Love Soap at Miss Photogenic; Mayu Eustaquio Murakami na nakakuha ng Best in Yukata, Best
in Evening Gown at Best in Swimwear; Midori Naviamos Sakurai na nanalong Miss Avon; at Yuki Du Sonoda na nakakuha ng Adviser's Choice Award.

Moreno, MPJP Vice-Chairperson Chie Kushida, Inspired Writer-Poet-Photographer Mark Tarpinian, MPJP Chairperson Daisy Jumilla at Tourism Attache Valentino Cabansag.
Samantala, pinasaya naman nila Carol Inagaki, Eva Takanashi, Sharmaine Mae Banal, DOS-J dancers at bandang Lumad ang mga manonood sa kanilang intermission numbers.
Nagsilbing hosts ng gabi sina Ana Margarita Teodoro at Sharon Francisco.
Ito ang ikalawang taon ng patimpalak na bahagi ng taunang Kadayawan Festival sa Tokyo na ino-organisa ng Dabawenyos’ Organized Society-Japan.
“We are hoping to reach out to more candidates from different prefectures in Japan next year,” pahayag ni DOS-J founder Joseph Banal.
Ibinalita rin ni Banal ang malaking event na kanilang ino-organisa sa darating na Nobyembre na gaganapin sa Tokyo, Nagoya at Gifu kung saan panauhing pandangal ang aktor na si Robin Padilla.
