Pinasinayaan ni Pangulong Rodrigo
Duterte ang bagong Communications, Navigation, Surveillance and Air Traffic
Management (CNS/ATM) Systems upang mapabuti ang air traffic efficiency and
quality infrastructure sa Pilipinas.
“This is the answer to the calls
for a much-needed upgrade in our country’s inadequate and aging air navigation
systems which lags behind those of our neighbors in the regions,” sabi ng Pangulo
loan.
“Through the cooperation of our
people and our private sector partners, we can soon ease our transportation
woes and pave the way for a more industrialized Philippines,” aniya.
“As we regain the people’s trust in
government through our anti-criminality and anti-corruption initiatives, we can
now look forward to the implementation and completion of major infrastructure
projects that will bring us closer as a people and enhance the quality of life
of all Filipinos,” dagdag pa ng Pangulo.
Dinaluhan din nina Department of Transportation
(DOTr) Secretary Arthur Tugade, Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP)
Director General Jim Sydiongco, Japanese Ambassador to the Philippines Koji
Haneda at JICA Chief Representative Susumu Ito ang seremonya.
“The aviation sector is a very important
pillar and enabler of economic growth. Thus, with this new facility under our
cooperation, we aim to contribute further in improving the Philippine transport
infrastructure sector,” ani Ito.
Laoag, Cebu-Mt Majic, Quezon-Palawan at Zamboanga; at airport surveillance
radars sa NAIA2, Mactan, Bacolod, Kalibo at Davao.
