Broadcasting System and Data Broadcasting of Digital Terrestrial Television
Broadcasting.”
Sinaksihan nina Presidential
Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Secretary Martin Andanar at Japan
Undersecretary Noel Goerge Puyat at People’s Television Network General Manager
Coordination (International Affairs) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and
Communications Masahiko Tominaga.
Taong 2013 nang i-adopt ng
Pilipinas ang Japanese digital TV standard o Integrated Services Digital
Broadcasting-Terrestrial (ISDB-T).
“We are told that it was used
during the Fukushima incident. Iyong Shinkansen bullet trains managed to stop x
number of seconds on a minute prior to the earthquake hitting, (and) saved lives;
iyong ability to turn on television sets to broadcast this warning maski na
naka-off,” paliwanag ng dating pangulo.
