Tokyo Disney Resort: ‘Happiness is here’

Maligayang bagong taon para sa ating lahat ang malugod na pagbati ng Tokyo Disneyland at DisneySea sa kanilang pagdiriwang ng 30^th anniversary na may temang “Tokyo Disney Resort 30^th: The Happiness Year.” 

Upang mai-promote pa lalo ang Tokyo Disney Resort ay nag-anyaya sila ng mga media representatives mula sa television at local and international newspapers kamakailan at isa ang Pinoy Gazette na naanyayahan kamakailan lamang.  Thanks to the invitation of Tokyo Disney Resort’s Oriental Land Co., Ltd. through its Publicity Department’s Management Associate, Mr. Hiroshi Suzuki.  

Ang Disneyland Park sa Tokyo ay naunang nagbukas noong Abril 15, 1983 na sinundan ng DisneySea Park at tatlong Disney hotels (Disney Ambassador Hotel, Tokyo DisneySea Hotel Miracosta, and Tokyo Disneyland Hotel) kaya naman mayroon silang year-long celebration mula Abril 15, 2013 hanggang Marso 20, 2014 para sa lahat. 

Ayon sa website ng Tokyo Disney Resort, “during this year-long celebration, guests will be able to share new discoveries, wonder and excitement with their family and friends, as well as with the Disney characters and the cast members. 

“‘Happiness is Here’ is themed to various kinds of ‘happiness’ as expressed by the Disney characters.  Spanning a length of 500 meters and composed of 13 floats in seven themed units, this spectacular parade overflows with vibrant color, fun and exhilaration.

“All the guests are sure to have smiles on their faces as they watch the spectacular new parade.”

Dahil napakapopular ng Disneyland at DisneySea hindi lang sa mga bata kundi sa mga matatanda rin, sigurado akong nakarating na ang karamihan sa ating mga Pinoy dito sa Japan at paulit-ulit pa rin nating pinupuntahan dahil sa kakaibang kaligayahan habang nasa loob tayo ng dalawang nasabing parks.  

Mayroon pa nga akong nakadaupang-palad at nakuhanan ng litrato na grupo ng mga Pinoy na galing pa mula Ehime Ken at nag-bus ng mahigit walong oras upang magdiwang ng bagong taon doon.  Namamasukan daw sila bilang mga welders sa isang kumpanya sa Ehime Ken at ang karamihan sa kanila ay mga taga-Visayas sa Pilipinas.

Para sa mga Disney characters collectors, taon-taon ay naiiba rin ang special na bilihin o souvenir items gaya ng iba’t ibang designs ng Disney characters, Happiness Balloons, at iba’t ibang costumes ni Mickey Mouse from the past 30 years. 

“One of the special items is the interactive Happiness Sharing Pendant1 (2,500 yen) that can be used to experience the "happiness" at the five Happiness Sharing Spots in each of the two Parks.

By using the Happiness Sharing Pendant to collect three or more "happiness" lights, guests will be presented with an original pendant accessory. Tokyo Disneyland offers limited-edition special merchandise, including a display set of figures from the "Happiness Is Here" parade and diamond necklaces. At Tokyo DisneySea, special merchandise featuring Duffy and ShellieMay are being sold.”

Bukod sa mga attractions and rides ay mayroon din ang Disney Resort ng Ikspiari department store na may 140 shops, restaurants, at 16-screen cinema complex at ‘Club Ikspiari’ performance hall.
